Based on the Delta Force Schematic and the Turner +2 diagram 1=White 2=Red 3=Black 4=No connection (Unless you install 2 scan buttons in the Turner +2) 5= Shield Switch the internal switch in the bottom of the microphone for Electronic Switching (Not Relay). :-)

Must know the pin out of the transceiver your wiring it too.
like cobras 1.ground 2.audio 3. TX 4. RX... then wire accordingly.(same as the 4 pin exports)..
Use a ohm meter to find the correct wires on your mic switch.
then you know how to wire any mic to any transceiver.
This will work for the turner 2+2

NEED TO WIRE LESON MICROPHONE TO MAGNUM 257

Notice the black mic plug has the numbers it is solder by numbers. Used rosin core silver solder radio shack sells it.

I have no info on the 5 pin as i know the OmegaForce version has an addition mic plug, i figure yours might also.

Mic wireing

For a Turner +3 it is 1/shield 2/white 3/black 4/red.For an Astatic 4 wire it's as follows 1/shield 2/white 3/red 4/black ; for a 6 wire it is 1/shield&blue 2/white 3/red 4/black - yellow no connection . Good luck....Dan

Magnum delta force

pin1 = mic audio,pin 2=receive, pin3= push to talk or transmit, pin5= shield.

cobra usually is white= mic audio, red= ptt, black= receive or speaker complete

Wiring a mic

The Delta Force and Omega Force are wired the same way, so if the mic is not working on the radio, check the mic out to make sure it's working. Make sure you have the mic gain turned up on the radio. I assume the mic was not wired for another style of radio??
