Listen to music with the Plantronics Explorer 220:
Unfortunately the Explorer 220 was not designed for music, it does
not have the technology built in to stream audio. Headsets must have
the Bluetooth A2DP profile and technology to be able to stream music.
Like the Plantronics Voyager Pro+ and BackBeat models. Here are the
links for these below.
I'm afraid that if it's not turning on after that long of a charge
you'll need to return it to your retailer or call Plantronics (800-544-4660 x5538) for warranty replacement.
If it's past the warranty period, check out this link for the Plantronics Explorer 220 for all the latest headsets.
Try to delete the
bluetooth from the phone, and re-pair it or subscribe back on the phone.
It may be that your headset is old and needs to be replaced. If this
does not work look at the Plantronics M100 bluetooth headset.
Turn off the Bluetooth on your iPhone. When charging the Plantronics 220, hold down its on/off button until it starts to blink two different colors. Then turn the Bluetooth to on once again on your phone. Once it detects the device, press pair. The pin is '0000'. A little late but hope it helps.
I have a Plantronics headset as well. If it stops charging it means it's time to buy a new one. If it's still under warranty however you should get a hold of plantronics to see if they can replace it because then it would be considered defective. Here is their number:
(800) 544-4660 they also offer online chat at their website www.plantronics.com
