When first choosing a toy for a child, it is best to determine if the toy is age appropriate. The toy packaging usually has age recommendations. I have the same crib. Babies R' Us do not sell the conversion rails online. You have to order them through Babies R' Us. They run $59.99 and it takes 7-14 days. It is standard metal rails. They told me I can go to any furniture store and buy the bed frame if I want to.
I did contact the manufacturer and they told me the same thing. It is not rails that are made specifically for this crib.
