This is due to the arm that controls the switch on the icemaker itself either being shorted or froozen in the toggled position. Usually the arm would lift as your ice container becomes full and shut the icemaker off until it reached a level where the switch would then toggle to the make ice position and then start makeing ice again. There are three 1/4" screws that hold the icemaker in place remove these screws unplug the icemaker and then use hot water to dethaw your ice maker for about 2-4 minutes after wards dry the icemaker then try reinstalling the icemaker if the problem persists replace the icemaker itself. On the flapper that is pushed down by the ice there is a small magnet. It is on the arm on the back right. It trips a magnetic switch. It has either slipped or fallen out completely.
