Dont restore

  1. Go to settings
  2. General
  3. Second to last on the bottom of the screen : Accessibility
  4. Click on zoom
  5. and turn off
The reason it happened because you double-tapped with three fingers

Hello
You can reset and "restore" your iPhone to default settings:
"

  1. Turn off iPhone – Hold down the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the red slider. Ignore this step if you iphone is already off.
  2. Press and hold down the Home button for about 10 seconds until a yellow triangle with a text which says Please Connect to iTunes appears. The entire screen magnified itself and wont go bac - iphone-recovery-mode.jpg
  3. Plug the iPhone into Mac or a PC. Release the button if you haven’t.
  4. Run and open iTunes if it’s not already opened yet.
  5. iTunes will prompt a message that says iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. Click OK.
  6. You will be taken to the iPhone pane. Then, click on Restore.
  7. Wait for the full restoration process to complete, and the iPhone will be back to the original settings state as when it left the manufacturing factory, typically a working phone again if you face any problem, unless it’s hardware related."

I've encountered the same problem. I've tried the first solution, but somehow the yellow triangle didn't appear. Then, I tried the second solution, it works!!!

Thanks a lot!!!

To zoom out to normal screen size, tap on the screen using 3 fingers at the same time

To turn off that magnification feature, go to Settings>General>Accessibility> Turn OFF Zoom or any of the other stuff in there if you don't need it.

HOW DO I GET MY IPHONE SREEN TO GO BACK TO NORMAL SIZE?ITS MAGNIFIED AND WONT GO BACK TO REGULAR SIZE?

THere is a section in the general settings folder that should be able to help you calibrate your display. If the screen does not respond to you pinching your fingers together to reduce it and doesn't respond to recallibration, I would recommend a hard reset and then if that doesn't help, connecting through i tunes and doing a restore. Remember to always back up all of your data before doing any sort of reset or restore proceedure. good luck

Hello Nanagruv,

Just tap 3 fingers at the same time on your iphone's screen. What happened was you unintentionally grabbed the iphone thru your pocket and had placed three fingers at the same time in the screen.

Please let me know if this works. Goodluck!

I am unable to see the normal size screen image, it is magnified and will not reset to normal size

This is not a problem...

You just accidentally zoomed in, to zoom back out, here's what you gotta do: double-tap anywhere on your iPhone screen using 3 of your fingers (simultaneously). That will fix it.

And in case you want to zoom in again, just do the same thing.
