Gearbox schematics i need a schematic of the gears for cd mechanism unit. i dissasembeled the unit and the gears fell out thanks

It is too old (1970s) for that data to be on the Internet. There is one for sale on eBay, buy it and carefully look inside.

Had the same problem with my MTD Yard Machines 5 horse tiller. I called MTD at 800-800-7310 and with the model and serial and such off the engine - which are stamped into it - a nice lady was able to narrow down my tiller year. From there with horsepower details she narrowed further to one of two models that I could look up on the MTD corporate home page and get a schematic.

I have locked my only key in the boot of my r reg saab 95... I think I might be able to drill into the reflector next to the lock in the boot and access the cable release ... but... is this feasible and where might I drill the hole? thanks.. Gary

if a little steel ball also fell out then u need to find it that is the tension for your gears, if nothing fell out then the retainer inside the unit is out of place when you replaced the spring. you might need to have the unit serviced
