Replacing rav4 factorie sterio 2004 with a new 2015 jvc sterio system

Use a harness adapter if you haven't cut the factory wiring plug in the car. If you have go to www.modifiedlife.com. they have an excellent resource page with wiring diagrams
tip

No audio even though sterio wires are all connected

My 1997 Alpine CDE-7828's wiring schematic doesn't disclose one important thing for many older and possibly even some newer sterios (aka 'head units'). If all wires are connected per the sterio's schematic andf sound is missing, you probably have a dedicated pin on yout vehicle's harness/connector that will read something like 'Turn-on AMP signal", <br />until you jumper the ignition hot lead (between the harness plug and your sterio) to your vehicle's 'Turn-on AMP signal' pin/connector wire (add a wire if none is supplied in your vehicle's connector), you won't get any sound even though all the other wires are connected per your head unit''s instructions.

Trying to find out what leads i need to use to wire a sony cdx gt210 stereo into my daughters 93 corsa sxi

i would strongly suggest not to hook it up that way just go to your local wallmart in the sterio section and get a sterio harness hook up kit it says on back of pack if it will work for your car and they will have what you need and that just plugs right in to the factory harness and will save you a huge head ack they are 12 to 15 bucks totally worth every penny then you wont stand a chance of shorting your wiring out good luck i hope this helps you

Replace factory radio on 2002 yukon xl

all you gotta do is carfully pry the dash panel off (prying from the far left end is easiest) completely remove panel. then there are 2 clips that hold the factory sterio in place. push on the both clips while pulling the radio out. simply disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the radio. using an adapter avaliable at your local radio shop (scosche p/n gm02, mdarb and gm1483b) wiring harness, dash install kit, and antenna adapter. then simply match the colors on the new radio's harness to the adapter harness, crimping each connection with a "but plug". then simply follow the instructions included with the dash install kit to assemble the kit.connect the antenna adapter to radio, plug in all cables. test to see if everything works properly before the final install. install sterio into dash install kit, re installing kit where origional radio was. then simply put the panel back in its place by firmly pushing on it untill it snaps into place. then enjoy your new radio!

Got a deck...need to install myself

the best way is to buy a wire harness tomatch your cars then all you do is match the colours from the wire harness provided and the one for your car but if you do the wir cutting method then
Yellow is your constant wire
Red is your accessory wire
Bllack is ground after that there will be a orange wir e that is optional hook up to run the sterio with the dash dimmer 2-3 blue wires which you can use for AMP remote wire or elctronic Antena

then there are the White and white with black stripe
Green and green with black strip
Purple " "
Grey " "
are your 2 front and 2 rear speakers
which go where i always for get but when your installing the sterio you can set the sterio to run frount let and then hook the wiers for that speaker up when you fin the right one
