Question about Motorola Mobility Whisper Bluetooth Headset

1 Answer

My whisper seems to be muted no one can hear me

When I talk into my headset no one can hear me but I can hear them. If I try to adjust my headset the person on the call can hear me adjusting the headset. I checked to see if the phone was muted and it isn't. What can I do to get it working?

SOURCE: MOTOROLA H800 WIRELESS HEADSET

I took mine apart to see what the problem was, the two wires that go to the mic had be broken. Probably by the sliding motion of the boom. Gonna try to fix it if i can..don't know, It will probably do the same thing again. Always remember- THE MORE MOVING PARTS TO SOMETHING THE MORE THERE IS THAT CAN GO WRONG!

SOURCE: H500 bluetooth headset

Turn down the volume on the PHONE, not the headset. Motorola 325i w/ H500. Again, turn down the volume on the PHONE, not the headset. In my case almost all the way down.

SOURCE: does it have a mute button because person on phone

Tap both volume buttons to mute/unmut. If that does not solve it i have heard many accounts of these headsets having back mic's.

By having your microphone set to level D, try setting it on A while talking to someone who can here you while you switch through. Most systems are set to B for standard use. On the back of the unit is an up or down microphone, that would allow your voice to be made higher or lower.

Plantronics CS55. When using the wireless headset

Echo is usually caused by the transmit (speak) level on the unit being set too high.

1. First, try lowering the volume of the telephone. If you still hear an echo, adjust the volume of the headset itself.

2. The master transmit controls of the headset are the ABCD switch settings on the bottom of the base. A is the lowest and D is the highest setting.

3. You can fine tune this setting with the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons on the back of the charging base.

4. If this doesn't fix the echo, try moving the configuration dial on the left side of the charging base. The recommended setting for most phones is 1.

H700 headset person on the other end cannot hear me - I tried adjusting volumes - no use

Make sure that the tip is not resting on your cheek. That is were the microphone is in that pin hole, adjust the headset so that it stays off of your cheek

I would think that your mic part is shot or you need to adjust the volume of your mic. Go to Start---->Control Panel---->Sounds And Devices---->Volume----->Advanced now adjust your input mic levels a little lower.
