How do I re-download the apps launcher?. - Google Chrome

Reboot. Remove battery and wait for 5 seconds. Put it back on. Enter 'Recovery Mode'. There will be some hardware button combination to enter Recovery Mode like Power+Volume Up+Volume Down. After entering, depending on your phone, you might have to navigate through physical buttons.
You will find 'Clear Cache' and 'Clear Dalvik Cache'. Do both.
And then Reboot normally. Now see if you can get the launcher working on your phone.
If that doesn't work, press home key, see if you can open some browser application or Play Store and download and install a new Launcher.
If that doesn't work, but you can somehow access settings, go to settings->Apps and clear data of your Launcher App.
If that isn't possible then, go to Recover Mode again and do 'Reset Factory Defaults'. This should make your phone feel just like when you brought it.

Are you using a launcher you downloaded? If so, it may be that it is having issues and not opening all your applications. To fix this you can revert to the default launcher by going into settings, finding the name of the launcher that isn't working and pressing "Clear Defaults", when you press the home button, make sure to choose the default launcher and then try to use your apps again.

Launcher is Missing is it a luncher app you downloaded from the playstore or is it the default launcher of your phone because if its just an app that you downloaded from the playstore its missing because a factory reset will erase all your data and apps

If its the dufault launcher is your phone rooted?
Did you perhaps uninstall the default launcher using a root tool like link to SD?

If you have uninstalled your default launcher then you would have to flash a stock rom from your phone's manufacturer or download a custom rom from the internet

Pretty straight forward, you will just need to replace the touhwiz launcher, first download and install a different launcher, I use Apex Prime and it works perfectly but you could also use Google launcher or any other you want.

Setup is pretty basic just open the app and it should prompt you to set the launcher as your default launcher from there you can go to the launcher settings and change pretty much anything you want. I suggest setting animation and scroll speed to faster than default as it makes the phone feel more responsive. Good luck.

This usually happens when moving apps to the SD Card with the stock Launcher (i.e., through the "Manage Aapplications" menu).

1. Remove the battery.
2. Remove the SD card.
3. Reset it to factory.
4. Install Launcher Pro & Launcher Switcher.
5. Reinstall the apps that you had.
6. Use Launcher Pro as your main launcher

I don't think you can do that because it is the Samsung built-in/default launcher and it comes pre-loaded with your tablet. If you don't like it (I assume that's why you would want to get rid of it), install other app launchers, such as Apex Launcher, Nova Launcher, etc. from the Play Store and use any of those as your app launcher.

To make it easier, download any launcher from PlayStore and use it as your main launcher. I use Nova, but Apex should work fine, you will get the app drawer back.

its a glitch in Google Chromes latest update. just uninstall Chrome remove all its registry keys and left over folders. restart your computer.
then use Internet Explorer only then go to https://chrome.google.com click the download and follow the instructions. The app launcher will not install onto your desktop, but will open to the app launcher page when you open Chrome.
that too can be removed also bu going into settings "Open a specific page or set of pages. Set Pages" click on set pages and add new page to about:blank or to whatever page you want Chrome to open to. then click save. and that is it no more app page.
once i did this Chrome opens a lot faster.

The app draweris the application launcher and is accessed usually by the center icon in thedock bar. If you meanhow to launch an application from your home screen, then open the app drawerand long-press on the app and it's icon will be placed on the home screen.

The easiest way to change the theme or look of the LG Optimus (or any Android phone for that matter) is to download a new launcher. The Launcher is like the desktop for Android, where you can place widgets and app icons. There are different Launcher's available to download from the Android Market, and some of them can be themed and dramatically change the look of your phone. There are multiple good ones that can be themed. Just go to the Android Market, search for ADW, OpenHome, GO Launcher EX, just to name a few that can be themed.
Once you install the new Launcher, when you hit "home" it will bring up options to choose which Launcher you want to use. Don't select "use as default" until you're sure you want to settle with one of them. (*if you do select use as default, and then want to change again, see the note at the end of this)
If you go back to the Android market, and search for ADW themes, OpenHome themes, etc., you should see quite a long list of various themes for each launcher. Install one you want to try, then hit home. From there, depending on the Launcher you're using, find the section that has to do with "Themes" or "UI". From there, you should be able to select and apply the theme you just downloaded and installed. It can't hurt to download a few if you want to test a few.
Changing Launchers is a great way to change the look and feel of you're phone, as a lot of them run much smoother than the Launcher that comes default on the phone.
*If you set a Launcher as default, but want to change it... the easiest option is to download "Home Switcher for Froyo" from the Android Market, and use that to change between Launchers. The longer was is to go into Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications, find the Launcher you're using, click on it, and select "clear defaults". Then when you hit the "home" button, it should bring up your options again.
