"No signal" My Sony Wega tv is attach to my cable box, however, there is snow and it is saying no signal. We've called our cable carrier and they change the cable box. This worked for about 1 week but it is now doing the same thing with the new cable box. I've tried three different cable boxes but the snow and no signal is still there. My cable carrier thinks it is the barrel on the back of the tv. What do you think?
I havet same problem as yours! Driving us NUTS. It must be the barrel box in the back of tv cuz we put another tv with the same cable line. It turns out the cable line is fine. It is just the TV itself is having trouble. Any suggestion??
BUY new tv or have someone come to repair the tv?

I just got this TV and I am having the same problem but we have had snow and Ice for 3 weeks now and it didn't bother it before. I am on a satellite and I know my reciever is working fine because this recieve runs the other TV in the house which is working fine. It could be a bad barrel at he TV and at the wall. Your cables and connector could be of poor quality. You may also have a signal issue. Has anyone fron the cable company be out to take a signal reading?

Hello, hopefully you can help me. I just brought a used sony wega kv-27fs13 27 flat-screen tv. But when I put the cable wire in the TV it says No Signal. Do you know what the problem could be?
Tries unplug,replug tv and pay boxes back like about an hour later.Now tv and cable or satalite boxes are resetting itself back to the tv factory setting and cable or satalite boxes by rebooting and those pay boxes and updating it softwares.Now the the tv should work right again.If not call ur pay tvs providers get a another pay signals boxs.
You probably switched the TV from analogue to digital mode or vice-versa.
There should be a small button on your remote control marked DTV or ATV. Try pressing this.
If you are using a separate cable/satellite/tuner box from a SCART cable, turn off the tv, and turn off the cable/satellite box. Then turn the TV back on, then the cable/satellite box back on. The TV should recognise there is an external input and you should be OK.
Just wondering if thesmiths860 found a solution to their issue w/ their Sony TV. My tv is doing the same thing i.e. snow, won't change channels and says "NO SIGNAL".
Does anyone have a solution? I don't have the original remote so I can't do a factory reset.
YOU CAN EITHER SWITCH YOUR CABLES ARE CALL UR CABLE PROVIDER AND IF U HAVE SATTELITE THAN IT COULD MOST LIKELY BE UR CABLE ON THE REAR OF UR HOUSE WHERE UR BOX IS ARE THE CABLE IN SIDE THE DISH. MAYBE EVEN U DIDNT SWITCH THE LINE BACK TO CABLE TRY SOME OF THESE THINGS THEN U CAN SEND ANOTHER MESSAGE IF IT WORKS ARE NOT LETTING US KNOW WAT HAPPENED THANK U
