Question about Mitsubishi WD Televison & Video
I got the TV put in a new lamp the TV work for 5hr and stop the lamp is good, There is power on sound or picture so I tuck the hole unit that has the lamp out of the same TV that is working put it in the one that stopped work and it works just fine, what can be wrong with the TV that stopped if the lamp is good
If the lamp is new and good to go then you may have to reset the lamp replacement counter in your setting menu. When that is set back to zero you wont have a problem until it is time for a new lamp again.

I was having the same issue after a lamp replacement and the warranty tech said that it was the lamp power supply that went out. The part was on back order and look at the board neaqr the lamp and it had a blown capacitor. This would make since why the lamp would come on then shut off right away. She replaced the capacitor and works fine.

I have the exact same TV and have had the exact same problem. I talked to a TV repairman who said it has to be my deflection board. I just found this out today so I am looking all over the web for a deflection board. I hope this helps! Tyson

Make sure u replace the lamp cover as the safety switch need to be closed to make the set work. If new lamp did not repair your problem , then it may well be the Ballast Board, Sometimes call the Lamp Driver.
