Ipod needs to be put into discovery mode as well as the device that you are trying to connect to. Just turning on Bluetooth in the Ipod is not enopugh to get a connection. The two devices and any other devices that you want to connect to need to "Find" each other. Once that is done you should have no further problems.

SOURCE: 8GB iPod Touch Disabled

Thanks to everyone who provided solution inputs. I finally have my iPod back. The solution is: 1. Turn of your iPod. 2. While holding down the 'Home' button, connect to iTunes WARNING: Doing this will return your iPod back to original 'out of the box' settings and you will lose everything. On the bright side, you get a 'fresh' start and it will auto update to the most recent software version. Good luck!

I have alcatel z221 cant download pictures to computer

You can transfer pictures from your phone to your computer in 2 ways.
Bluetooth
1. Enable Bluetooth
- From idle mode, select Menu > Settings > Connections > Bluetooth.
- Press the OK Key to set Bluetooth to On.
2. Pair your phone to your Bluetooth enabled computer. If your phone does not have a built-in Bluetooth module, you can buy a Bluetooth dongle from your local electronics store.
- From idle mode, select Menu > Settings > Connections > Bluetooth > My devices.
- Press the OK Key to search for available Bluetooth devices.
- Highlight a device from the list and press the OK Key.
3. Select your desired file, and select Left Soft Key [Options] > Send > Via Bluetooth.
4. Select the target device from the device list, and press the OK Key to send.
Email
1. Select your desired file, and select Left Soft Key [Options] > Send > Via Message
2. Enter your email address. press the OK Key to send.
3. You can now download the file from your computer.

Can't send pictures

Make sure your apple id is set up correctly with your ipod and also make sure your internet connection(router) does not have a proxy set up to block all outgoing pictures of any kind.

How do you pair the 903 headset with my ipod touch?

To pair the Plantronics BackBeat 903 with an iPod Touch:

On the 903 headset:
With the headset powered off, press and hold the "Power/Pairing" button until the LED indicator flashes blue and red. This will put the 903 headset into pairing mode.

Use the iPod Touch menu to search for the headset and select 9xxBackBeat.

(If prompted, enter 0000 for the PIN code/passkey. Some devices also require you to accept the connection. Headset is paired when LED flashes blue.)

On the iPod Touch:
In Settings, choose General, Bluetooth, and turn Bluetooth on.

Choose the device on iPod Touch, then enter the PIN/Passkey 0000 (4 zeros).

After pairing the 903 and iPod Touch, the headset model may appear on the screen when you are viewing the audio or video playback controls. (You can "tap" to switch to a different audio output, such as the internal speaker)

Cant connect my em 227 with my ipod touch

Your headset is a monaural device, and, as such, bears bluetooth profiles HSP (HeadSet Profile) and HFP (HandsFree Profile) only, which are suitable for handling phone calls. The iPod Touch is not a phone, though, for what it must lack those profiles. It does have A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) and AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile), though, which are meant for stereo music streams. In order to have a bluetooth headset paired with your iPod, you better purchase a stereo pair out there. There are lots of brands and models available.
You know, for some platforms there are some applications which are able to route all audio sources to a monaural bluetooth headset. I don't know if there are any of such softwares in Apple's app market. You could search for it, if you want, but be warned that such arrangements use to result in pretty poor sound quality.
Please, let me know if I can help you any further.
Regards, Carlos

How do i get it to connect to my ipod

ok, this is a bit complicated of a matter so ill make it as simple as possible. First of all, the first generation iPod Touches DO NOT have bluetooth capability, so if your ipod is a first generation you cant use bluetooth. Second, the iPod must be running on the latest firmware, which can be updated through iTunes. Third, iPod Touches CANNOT pair with bluetooth headsets (such as the ones you use with a cell phone the go over one ear) however they CAN be paired with bluetooth HEADPHONES (go over your entire head to cover both ears) now assuming you meet the above criteria, the option for bluetooth is in Settings>General>Bluetooth On. place the device in pairing mode and it should be discovered. if it is not, you are using an incompatible Bluetooth Device. Cant get pics from computer on ipod touch

Connect your iPod to your computer as you normally would with the USB cable. Step 2 Open iTunes if you don?t have it open on your computer already. You will be able to access photo options from here. Step 3 Choose ?Preferences? from the iTunes menu. This will pop up a tab where you will be able to complete step 4. Step 4 Click on the iPod tab in the screen that will open up after completing step 3. Step 5 Select the ?Photos? tab in the ?iPod? pane you chose in step 4. Step 6 Choose the ?Synchronize Photos From? checkbox and select either "iPhoto," "Choose Folder" or "Pictures" (as in your pictures folder) from the pop-up menu. try this and see if it helps
