Sorry, I would need more info...clear your custom menus, if that does not help, clean the lens contact, body contacts with denatured alcohol, make sure the AF function is turned on...
good luck!

Most likely your camera is set to M manual focus. There's a little switch on the side of the camera that has S/C/M. The S is for single servo focus so it focusses on one subject and does not re-focus. The C is for continuous for action and movement and the camera continuously re-focusses, and the M is manual focus.

The other possibility is that both lenses are switched to Manual. There is a switch on the lens that says M/MA. Be sure it's on MA

Is a tamron 28-300 F/3..5-6.3 AFC adaptable to my canon T3I?

Tamron makes their lenses with a variety of camera mounts. If the lens has a Canon mount then it will work fine on your T3i. If it has another mount then it will need an adapter, and you will lose some functionality (probably autofocus and autoexposure).

How to mount q-ray 70-210mm lens on canon t3i body

Quantaray makes lenses with a variety of lens mounts. Assuming the lens has a Canon EF mount, it will fit onto the T3i just like any Canon lens. If it has a different mount, you'll need an appropriate lens mount adapter.

Will my kelda 650-1300mm lens work on my canon t3i?

Assuming your lens has a Canon mount, yes, it will work. Since the lens is completely manual and nonelectronic, you won't get any autofocus or autoexposure.

Are extension tubes any good?

Extension tubes will not affect the zoom range. They simply allow the lens to focus closer by moving the glass farther away from the film or image sensor. I use them for my own close-up work.

The 18-135mm will let you focus down to 0.45m for a maximum magnification of about 1:4.8. True macro is at least 1:1 (lifesize) so this lens can't really be called a macro.

If you mean the 50mm f/2.5 lens, this will let you get to 1:1.

Can Canon AE-1 lenses work on a EOS T3i?

Yes, you may use the older FD-mount lenses on the newer EF-mount bodies with the proper adapter. There are limitations however. Usually you will lose any autofocus, and a stop or so of light.
Here and here are two adapters.
