SOURCE: How do you replace a drive belt on a husqvarna cz4817

i just replaced my belt on a cz 4817. On one side there should be a bar with a spring on it. If you sitting in it it will be on you left side mounted on the deck itself. Push the bar in for about an inch and then up over the lip thats the belt tension spring. you should now be able to remove your old and put the new on. If you need the diagram to show you how to lace the new belt let me know and i will email it to you. good luck

SOURCE: Hi, Just replaced the drive belt on a Husqvarna

Hello,
My name is Dane and I am going to help you solve your problem.
I looked up your mower and I believe you should be using drive belt# 5321701-40. That is a 112" belt. Here is a link to the parts manual and a drawing of the belt routing. As long as that is the belt you have, and replaced it correctly it should be fine. You are correct, when you put the mower in gear, the pulley system will put more tension on it.

Well, I hope I've helped. If you found this information useful, please leave me some THUMBS UP if you think I'm deserving! :-) Thank you! Dane

What's the belt demention on a 2013 rz4623 husqvarna. The mower is discontinued

still plenty of parts available, the dimensions arent included, but you can find cheaper belts, just dont use an automotive belt, they wont last through 1 mowing, get the ones with kevlar, they r more expensive but, will last for a long time, Husqvarna Drive Belt Part 539117245

My RZ4623 will not move.

If the unit stopped moving at once. I suggest checking the belt. It is very unlikely both Hydro-Gear units would fail at the same time. check under the mower, and check on top of the transmissions, you should see the drive belt running between both transmissions and the engine.

Husqvarna New Zero Turn Lawn Mower RZ4623 will not go into gear

Not sure the problem, there are no gears on the drive system. This uses Hydro drive wheel units. If the belt is on and in good shape, check the lever linkage.
