My carrier split type non-inverter aircon always blinking

My carrier split type non-inverter aircon always has the operation green light blinking! it blinks while it is off...what does this mean??

    My delonghi pac A100 aircon shows PF and it blinking the aircon sudden not working what does it mean please help it very frustrating

I got the same problem in Samsung aircon. The unit I purchsed died slowly. After that Samsung replaced it with the one have the same problem. They are swearing that the green light blinking problem as a normal function and refusing to fix. Their user manual says it is a problem. I think the affected consumers should join hands to take legal action against this scam.

Klv32s310A sony bravia gets start on with green light and after a second turns to stand by mode blinking the red light 6 times after each 2 second interval

green led means tv powered on and status ok.
Red blinking light almost always means defect, overcurrent or overload.
6 blinks for Sony lcd flat tv means trouble in backlight circuit, or backlight inverter (backlight illumination or lighting makes your tv screen visible).
common problems in the inverter circuit, which drives the backlight, or shorted drivers, or short-circuit transformers or open circuits.
You should find the problem in the inverter circuit, or in the power supply board or in the main board.
Also look for bad capacitors (electrolytic caps) which are bulged and swollen on top.
Decoupling plugs from printed circuit boards can help you in finding the problem board by elimination method.
If you power up the set after unplugging certain plugs on f.e. the inverter board , this could result in getting a green power led and concluding that this board is faulty.

LG aircon operation flashes blinking light 8 times and then shifts to timer light flashes blinking light 4 times
Sounds like a 48 code. (There is no 84 to my knowledge).
Outdoor unit coil outlet (liquid line) thermistor has disconnected or has shorted out.

Split type aircon
It sounds to me that the air con is on auto fan, as the room gets hotter or colder the fan will slow down and stop. keep the fan on low,med or high fan speed

Blink on standby green after awhile then blink red
The blinking green light signals that the inverter board is charging the bulb. If the blinking goes to red it means that this process has failed because either the inverter board is not full operational or the bulb itself has failed.
Most likely you will have to replace the bulb - here it is

If this doesn't fix it then you will have to check the inverter and power boards and replace the failing one.

My carrier A/C turns off by itself but the light blinks
Switch OFF the circuit breaker of ac, after 5 seconds. Switched ON the circuit breaker. If this will appear again try to check the wiring connection of ac.
