Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S600 Digital Camera
I dropped my camera today, around 3-4 ft drop onto a wooden deck. When I tried to turn it back on all it said was "Cybershot" then it would shut off. I've tried changing the batteries twice, let it rest, but it still isn't working. Is it broken? Do i need to get a new one or is there a way I can fix my camera?
That happen to my camera, exactly same thing. and i figured out when i dropped it the zoom out zoom in lens was bent and stuck part way in camera. My brother was playing around and moved lens and it started to work again. If lens looks a little crooked try moving it or putting it straight. Hope it helps

The lens is stuck check that out!!! put your camera in a rear-side posicion so you will see if the lens is out of position just put it, straight, it worked for me, hope you can do it too :D

It's so funny! I had a similar problem. The only difference was that I dropped it on ice in a rink. I just played with the lens thingy (the first one) and I heard a pop. Next thing I know, I hit POWER and it starts working again.
