On the L. of the keyboard there is a slide switch for pitch it should be in 10, 12 or 15 not in PS. If it isn't in PS push down on it and slide it up and down a few times and leave it in 10 or 12.
it's probably a hardware problem. replacing the keyboard is pretty easy and relatively affordable (maybe 50 dollars at the most.) just a suggestion though.
you will have to replace the keyboard. the keyboard normally gets fitted with one or mostly 2 screws from the bottem of the laptop and the keyboard is held by small clips
I had the exact same problem. To solve this you have to download and install the Easy Display Manager. Go to http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/NP-R440-JAE1US select Downloads -> Software and look for the download link (click on ZIP icon). Make sure to download the one that corresponds to your OS.
Go to Control panel. Select Regional and Language Options In the Regional options tab, select your country and language settings Click on apply and ok.
You MAY have to reboot for the changes to take effect.
