Hi,
There might be some stuck services related to Logitech that are still running in background as uninstalling programs using Windows Add/Remove Program leaves few files behind. In your case click on Start Menu and open Run. Now type "msconfig" without quotes. This will open System Configuration Utility. Open tab Startup and check for any program related to Logitech and disable it. Next open Services tab and check the box saying "Hide All Microsoft Services" and start looking for Logitech services and go on disabling them then restart computer when prompted while closing System Configuration Utility's window. In most cases it disables the program from getting launched at start-up.
If you are still getting the Logitech program installer, try to check "Scheduled Task" of windows and delete it (Start Menu> All Programs> Accessories> System Tools> Scheduled Task).
Hope the resolution works for you. If you are still getting the pop-up of Logitech installer, post follow-ups so that I can assist you further.
Cheers!
Hi. You can try the following steps to get this working
1. Uninstall the software.
2. Download viersion 7.7.0 from http://logitech.com/myharmony.
3. Install.
4. Uninstall the Logitech Desktop Messenger.
5. Disable any firewalls you may have on your computer.
6. Run the software, and connect your remote.
7. Click "Replace Remote" to conduct a connectivity check.
Also, ensure that you arte not using a wireless network, and that your remote is connected right to your computer, not through a USB hub.
This should be in the email that was provided to you by the company that you purchased this from, or in the packaging that you bought the disks in. If you are unable to locate the key for the product then you need to call and talk to the company where you purchased this or the stopzilla site in the right hand column.
Some systems like to go in to a "fail safe mode" when you remove them and some are just plain nasty. Check that it has not disabled your network cards. Or left services behind (that are probably not running).
Your only choice may be to reinstall.
