I have been playing Grand Theft Auto iv on bxex arcade model and i play game for 5min or so then the game freezers i have replaced the game twice and still does same thing so its not the cd and the xbox 360 is brand new 2 weeks old and does this to many games is this a hardware problem with updates or is this a problem with the cpu overheating not getting enough air and over heating as the xbox 360 has allot of problems with the cpu overheating so ive read on the net?

Is the fan at full speed , and does it go from lo to high
quickly ?If so you may be right, it could be a problem with G.P.U.
or should i say THE X CLAMP.

Take it back quickly and exchange it for "NEW"one.

Try clearing the memory cache

to clear the xbox 360's memory cache,
1. go to the system blade on your menu(should be the very last one)
2. go down to were it says memory, click on it. this should bring up your hard drive or other storage devices, press a on the one you want to empty
3. once youve gotten to the screen were it shows rename or format your storage device, input Y,X,X,LB,RB,X,X and a prompt will come up asking you if you want to empty your systems cache.

i have had a similar problem with the same game, i took it into gamestation and you know how they have that disk repair machine thing, it worked a treat and my game was working good as new.
