Frig works on gas but will not cool on electric
Hi, It is more then likely the heating element or a fuse in the electronic board located on the rear of the refrigerator. The heating element is located on the right hand side looking at the rear of the refrigerator. It is the probe like item that protrudes from the duct work with two black wires attached. You must disconnect the wires from the board then take the door off of the duct work, the the heating element will slide upwards to remove it. Please feel free to contact us 1-888-782-6665

I found that they rewired the 12 volt supply, red wire, thru a heat safety switch on the burner unit and it was open instead of being closed and cut off the main 12 volt supply to the control board. I connected a jumper wire around the new switch and the frig works . either the new switch is bad or too close to the heating unit.

Ron;
Check the burner assembly. 1 screw, remove the sheet metal cover and clean it. The burner collects rust. This is the likely. Other issues would be the gas pressure usually checked with a manometer. Should 11" of water column. If your furnace works good then the gas pressure is probably ok. Also could have a faulty ignitor which sends a miliamp signal back to the circuit board. Check the burner first, after that leave the cover off and turn the fridge on. Watch the ingnitor attempt to lite the burner. Be sure the spark is going to the burner and not shorting out on the sheet metal it is mounted in. If it is shorting to the frame the ignitor needs replacing.

It could be as simple as a blown fuse at the fridge. Also check to make sure you have turned on the electric switch that allows the fridge to run on AC. Note, you can only operate the fridge on EITHER gas OR electric, but not both sources at the same time, thus, you have to turn off the gas switch before you can run on electric.
When this unit is running on electricity, it has to have the thermostat set for it to run.
Here's a link to the Dometic manual for your model.

Just follow the steps for running on electric and you should be OK.
Hope this helps.

You need to make sure that you follow the manufacturer's recommendations for using the unit with each specific power source. It's important that you have the all switches in the proper position, based on what power source you're using.
Here's the manual for your model, save a copy and print it out and take some time to review the section #3 Operating Instructions on page 6.
