IT WILL NOT PRINT, A LIGHT IS ON THAT SAYS IMAGING DRUM LIGHT...,, WHAT DO i DO?
Ok, try to peel the chip off, and replace it with one of the chips from the toner casettes.
you might be able to fool the machine so that it thinks there is a new non hp imaging drum installed
in the hp 2840 (internally the same machine) you will be able to choose "ok continue with non hp material" on the display
You will need to replace the image drum. This is either due to the face that you have exceeded the number of pages/cycles that the drum supports or the drum has damage. If this is the drum that came with the printer, it is likely they shipped it with "starter" supplies which last a fraction of the time as the regular "full retail" replacement supplies. A URL for HP's instructions on how to replace tn image drum on the HPCLJ 2550 series follows:

Have the same thing going on, and tried the HP link. They say they've removed that page . . . Thanks for your effort.
