Hey friend, thanks for your post!

I understand you are trying to locate the location of certain parts within your Frigidaire washer. I have included a link to your parts manual which show the components inside of your appliance. If you continue to have difficulties I would reach out to a professional for additional assistance. Best of luck! -Matt

SOURCE: Terrible noise on spin Cycle

Just had the same problem 1 month ago. My Whirlpool Duet front load made that terrible noise. 2 of the 3 spider arms were cracked. I hade a new hole tub with the spider arm and the shaft , because it is 10 years limited waranty . But if it is not under waranty it costs about 270$ for that tub you can buy it from many appliance parts web sites on the net. Good luck, huge job to all remove that thing

Possible your spider arm, which you cannot see, has come loose, or has broken. Its a major fix.

SOURCE: Hi, our washing machine started making very loud

Loud banging is usually an unbalanced load. whining noise is some times debris trapped in drain pump causing it to squeal like a fan belt on a car. Strings, threads and hoses tend to get wrapped under agitator and cause noise, too.

SOURCE: banging noise on spin cycle

My beko washing machine was making a racket like this. What it was was the large blocks of concrete bolted to the drum had come loose. Solution was to get a 13mm socket with a bar and extension and tighten them up really hard as far as I could manage. THen the probelm dissapeared no more banging. Worth a try if your has similar blocks attached to outer drum

I have a ge frontload washer and it recently started making a really loud noise when in spin mode. It sometimes bangs the side also. What's going on?

It could be a few things that could be wrong with it. With the washer empty does the wash drum sit centered within the door? Also the drum should be level and not sag down or up. If it does, then it could mean the the springs or shocks are broken. You can check shocks by removing the two screws on the front bottom access panel. There are two shocks, and are mounted on the bottom of the the drum.

If the drum sits level and centered in the door, turn the drum by hand and feel how it spins. It should spin true and quietly without any kind of thumping or scaping noise. If it makes a thumping or scraping noise, or it wobbles as it spins this could mean the the spider arms that support the wash drum are broken. If it does not make any abrupt noise when you spin it by hand but when the machine is in a spin cycle, it spins with a loud roar like a jet plane is landing in your laundry room, then the bearings are gone.

It can be very expensive to have these machines servied since the machines needs to be taken apart to get the drum/bearing assembly. If you are handy, you can replace the bearing and seal for less than $100 in parts, but, if the spider assembly is broken, the parts alone can cost as much as a new washer.

Model # FWTR445RFS1. During the high speed spin it just started making a loud thumping noise. Tried sever different loads and it does not seem to be a clothes imbalance. I also took off the back cover...

There is a shaft that goes through a bearing in the back of the outer tub which supports and turns the inner tub. It is connected to the outside edges of the inner tub by a "spider arm". The normal play for the inner tub should be smooth, even and firm. If you can get it to move one way more than another one of the arms of the spider may be cracked. It would require removing ans splitting open the outer tub to inspect the rear support of the inner one.

Washer is 5 years old and making alot of noise during final spin

these frontloads are notorouis for having their rear bearing go out... if machine is all level and service told u the tub is bad then i would probably agree.... most of the newer frontloads had a 5yr parts warranty on the tub.....thet rear bearing is actually built in to the rear outer tub so replacing requires allot of labor as one must teardown unit and remove both drums and seperate and install new parts.... i would check your warranty for ur specific options,,, hope this helps

Front load washer loud noise and drum loose but not dropped

Spider arms attached to stainless steel drum inside of tub have probably broken. This is a known problem with Frigidaire front loading washing machines. The stainless steel drum has a 25 year warranty but this does not include the spider arms. You cannot buy the spider arms separately, you have to buy the unit as one. The drum cost about $250.00 and probably about $300.00 in labor to install. You can do it yourself but it is pretty involved. Good Luck!

Check the shocks on the bottom of the drum. I had the same problem and had to replace the shocks because they were broken in half.

Clunking noise and vibration during final spin cycle

For all those who say they recently bought the machine, the cause of the machine "walking across the floor" and vibrating violently is the packaging bolts on the back of the machine that were supposed to be removed when the machine was installed (why it says remove packaging bolts in the installation manual). These packaging bolts hold the suspension steady and firm during shipping but MUST be removed before operating the machine. When these packaging bolts (I think there are four total, some up to 6 inches long penetrate the rear of the machine) are removed, they allow the suspesion to absorb the vibration.
