My MP830 has an error code of 6A00. The assembly moves freely. There are no lights on the ink cartridges. I have flashing lights on the copy button and alarm.
Re: My MP830 has an error code of 6A00. The assembly
6A00 means the purge assembly is jammed or worn out. Part number QM2-3032-000 around
$30.00. It's the cleaning assembly on the right where the printhead parks when shut down.

Error 6A00 is a sevice error related to your device, not a user error. This a very good device and should not give you much trouble.
It could be down to use of none canon inks glogging the ourge unit up after time, it could be due to paper or objects in the purge, i would take the covers and inspect the purge and make sure that it moves back and foward. Make sure that the printer is clean on the inside and everything that should be able to
move, can move freely. It is usually a clogging of ink which causes this problem. Hope this can help you.
