Pretty easy, but might require you do things you haven't done before...

  1. Visit Google.com or whichever Google you'd like as a desktop shortcut
  2. In the Address Bar/Search Bar at the top of the window, drag the Google icon to your desktop. This will create a Google-named generic icon on the desktop
  3. Do a Google image search for a .PNG file of whatever Google logo you'd like. I've provided a link for the Google Drive logo below.
  4. Once you've found one you like, click on it and it'll bring up a preview window. You'll be able to tell if it's a transparent icon (very critical) because you'll see a checkerboard pattern behind the logo.
  5. Click on the View Image button. It'll bring up the logo in it's own window.
  6. Click anywhere in the window and type COMMAND+A to select the image.
  7. Type COMMAND+C to copy the image
  8. Click on the generic document icon named Google on your desktop and type COMMAND+I. This brings up the Get Info window for the file.
  9. Click on the small file icon at the top left of the window. It'll be surrounded by a light blue "halo" showing that it's selected
  10. Type COMMAND+V to paste the image file. You'll see that the generic icons in the window are now changed to the Google logo.
If you choose the wrong file type and paste it in, don't worry... just undo your last action (COMMAND+Z) and all will be well!

I hope this info helps!

There are a few ways to safely disconnect external harddrives from a Mac. 1) Drag the icon of the external drive into the trash can. 2) Right click (command click) on the icon of the external drive, and click "Eject"
Hope this works out for you! Please feel free to rate me if this helped you.

i have a mac too. when you plug in the usb to each the mac an HP, it should automatically set up configs. Check the printer manual to ensure the printer is compatible to each other. Or .. . .
install disk that came with All-in One. after install, restart computer. this should work now.

if not, go to applications folder for your computer, dbl click printer icon for make of printer. check settings.
lastly, go to web site of printer model and check site for trouble shooting if this does not work above. hp has an awesome web site for trouble shooting. HP might have a program that you might have to download additionally.

Mac mini desk top can not click

You can access your desktop as though it were any other folder and thus delete its contents however you'd care to.

In Finder, go to the File Menu > New Finder Window. It should automatically open your user folder and show Application, Desktop, Documents, etc. From there, simply open the Desktop folder and delete the files.
If any other window is opened, click on Mac HD > Users > [your user name here] > Desktop and do the same.

Google Desktop will not start.

The shortcut on your desktop maybe the old one you said that you reinstalled the Google Desktop BUT you did not uninstall the first one. The Icon on your desktop still refers to the old installation when somewhere while you use that programm CCleaner it wipe Google Desktop. Delete the icon on your desktop and reinstall allow google to place the icon again on the desktop. I can tell you another way to go and get it but that takes another explanation.
