SOURCE: 7570 Presser foot leaver..Slow to dropp down

Good morning,

If it's been a while (more than a year) since you've had your 7570 serviced by an authorized Pfaff tech, it's likely that it's just gotten gummed up and needs some attention and adjusting.

It's definitely fixable, but not something that you'll likely be able to do yourself - some of those parts are just not easy to get to and the lubricants needed aren't directly available.

Hope this helps,

SOURCE: connect PfaFF Creative 7570 to a PC

The software you need to connect the Pfaff 7570 to the PC and to create your designs is called PC-Designer version 2.2 from Pfaff. You may be able to find a used copy. The software should come with a dongle (special cable) for connecting the machine to the PC. Make sure you have this piece because it will not work with an ordinary cable. Depending on what type of port you have on the PC to connect to, you may also need an adapter since the dongle has an old style connector on the end going to the PC. If you are going to create your own designs, you will also need a storage card which inserts into the machine that you send the designs to. Pfaff makes one, called the creative card. I have also used a generic card meant for the pfaff; the generic card is less expensive and has a greater capacity. You can find many designs online either free or for sale to send from PC to Pfaff as well.

Error message on Pfaff 7570 is "bring presser foot lifter to sewing position?" Is this a fatal error or is this a procedure that has to be done before the machine will operate?

Assuming that the presser foot lifter is working, this shouldn't be a fatal error. The presser foot has to be down to sew. The lifter needs to be in the down position to put the foot down.

The manual for the Pfaff Creative 7570 is available on the product page: http://www.pfaff.com/en-US/Machines/creative-7570 . The direct link to the manual is http://www.pfaff.com/SiteMedia/PFAFF/Products/Machines/Support-manuals/Creative_7570-manual-EN.pdf?ext=.pdf . See page 32 (page 36 of the PDF) of the manual to see a picture of the presser foot lifter.

I hope this helps.

Pfaff creative 7570 embroidery unit error message 'raise the presser foot lifter' won't clear even though it is raised?

I had this problem, but ignored it, go through the advised listing on the machine's screen, under 'pressure foot lifter' and see if anything can be adjusted.

Cant get machine to embroider

there are three positions the presser foot can sit in. Up and down are the same on any machine. The 7570 has an in-between position for embroidery. Lift the presser foot and the lower it slowly while pushing gently. It should stop about half way down. The embroidery foot pushes the foot into the down position with each stitch allowing the fabric to move easily to the next stitch.

Model 6091. I can't get the presser foot to go completely down and rest on the fabric. Can you help?

This is a comon problem with the pfaff 7570. The spring that applys the presser to the foot is all gumed up and needs to be removed cleaned and lubricated. I dont know if you want to try this yourself. You will need to remove the top and side covers and upper tension unit. Can be tricky. A pfaff repair shop should charge around $30. I will go over the steps if you want, let me know. But like i said i can be tricky.

Pfaff 6122 Problem

Your machine just needs to be tuned up an the part inside that lower and raises the presser foot needs to be re-lubricated.  Lint, dust, dryness and the machine not being used can cause this issue with most pfaff machines (including my 7570).  A standard tune up from your local PFAFF dealer will remedy this.
