A hiatus hernia is when part of your stomach moves up into your chest. It's very common if you're over 50. It does not normally need treatment if it's not causing you problems.

It is a gastrointestinal matter than is usually from over eating, eating spicy food and eating too quickly and the stomach acids creep up into your throat upper chest area and the burning if these acids will make you feel that you may be having a hear attack.

Stop eating meats, deli meats and too much food for 3-5 days and take tums or alternatives to stop the burning feeling.

How do i know if its hernia

Inguinal or incisional hernias are usually diagnosed through a physical examination. Your doctor may feel for a bulge in your abdomen or groin that gets larger when you stand, cough, or strain. If you have a hiatal hernia, your doctor may diagnose it with a barium X-ray or endoscopy.

What do they do if the hyena hernia is attached to the chest wall?

Hello Friend,
WOW!
Hiatal hernia adhesion to the chest wall ... that's a good one! Speaking from the Natural Health and Wellness sector, here are some recommendations to help you along your way back to health.
1) Castor Oil Pack ... This remedy is as old as Egypt!

2) Try some circular stretching done gently side to side as done in Yoga, Tai Chi or Qi Gong practices.
Here is a referral link to doing Qi Gong, my personal favorite. Some of the Inner Arts call it lubricating the organs which should help in releasing those adhesions from the chest wall.

if it is an abdominal hernia and she is in pain her bowel might be being pinched . If her bowel is pinched it is an urgent life threatening condition ! Seek medical assistance

I am speaking from my own experience from having a belly button that was sticking out (Umbilical hernia) that I was advised to get an operation to fix the hernia and that there was a risk of having my bowel getting pinched which is life threatening !
Had a hernia operation to fix it. Was also there when I was a baby but it sealed up but came back later in life .

Advise getting an ambulance if the pain is intense.

Could Swollen Belly Button indicate hernia?

Disclaimer: I am not a doctor so treat this as merely my own answer to your question and please seek the help of an actual medical professional; information was found online on links I will post below.

Yes; one of the symptoms of (umbilical) hernia is a swollen belly button. However, this symptom may be associated with other conditions so be sure to ask your doctor for a correct diagnosis.

What is a 1.5 cm hernia filled with omental tissue?

A hernia is a hole, or split in the muscle tissue that keeps your insides in. When you have a hernia, The omentum inside can pop through the muscle and start pushing on the underside of your skin. You would be able to feel a bulge on your abdomen, under your skin, where there isn't supposed to be one. "Omentum" is Latin for "curtin". The omental tissue is a sort of curtain around your abdominal organs inside your abdomen, including your intestines.

Omentum Wikipedia the free encyclopedia

If you have a hernia, the pressure inside your abdomen will push the omental tissue through the hernia first. The omental tissue is made of Peritonium

Peritoneum Wikipedia the free encyclopedia.

If the hernia is small. then maybe only the omental tissue will pop through. If the hernia grows, then part of the intestine can pop through as well, causing a bowel obstruction that is a bit like folding a garden hose and stopping the water. If this happens, it can lead to death of part of the intestine and even death of the patient if not treated quickly.

How long would it take to recover after surgery for inguinal hernia? My dad has been scheduled to undergo repair surgery for inguinal hernia. While the doctors have given us their opinion on how long...

Surgical procedures to repair Hernia these days could be completed in less than an hour or two in cases of inguinal hernia. Just as with any surgical procedure, the body needs time to heal after a hernia surgery. In most cases, patients are allowed to leave the hospital on the same day as the procedure unless there are any unexpected complications. Recovery process is gradual. If your work does not involve much physical exertions, you could be back at work in 10 days or less. But make sure you do it in consultation with your doctor. Gentle exercises are advised as part of the recovery process. But you'd have to be patient until your body fully recovers from the surgery before you decide to start working out or unduly exerting yourself.
