SOURCE: Don't know how to read my Kindle with little available light

Hi there,

Kindle was designed without a backlight. The only way to read at night is to buy a book light designed for Kindle.

Hope this helps!

SOURCE: I cannot register my kindle

Usually the Kindle comes pre-registered to the name used for purchasing it.

However, to register to a different name, open http://www.kindle.com on a PC. Log in using your existing Amazon account or create a new one, following the directions on the web page.

If your Kindle was not registered yet, you can add your device by clicking on "Register a new Kindle" and enter your serial number.

If the device is registered already, it should show up in the list displayed.

SOURCE: My Amazon Kindle Wifi 3G

Amazon might help you with this because it is so new. However if you dropped it (etc.) and if HTC doesn't replace it for you, You can get the part at Kindle 3 Repair and there is a guide that shows you how to put in the part at Kindle Repair Guide.

How do I add my iPad to my Kindle account?

How to Install the Kindle App for iPad/iPhone The Kindle app can be used on any iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch with iOS 3.2 or greater installed. Installing the Kindle App Visit the App Store and download the Kindle app to start reading from your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch. To install the Kindle app: 1. Tap the App Store icon on the home screen of your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. You can also get the app through the iTunes Store. 2. Search for "Kindle" or find it in the alphabetical list of apps. 3. Follow the on-screen installation instructions. When installation is complete, tap the Kindle icon on your device to open the reading app. Registering the Kindle App To register your Kindle app, use your existing Amazon account e-mail address and password. If you live outside the United States and use the Kindle application, please see the Using the Kindle App if You Live Outside the United States Help page. Logging into your Amazon.com account through the Kindle app registers your device to your Amazon.com account. Once you sign in during registration, you won't need to do it again -- just open the app to access your Kindle Library. To register: 1. Tap the Kindle icon on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch to open the reading app. 2. Enter your Amazon.com account e-mail address and password. 3. Tap the "Register" button. You can also tap the Settings icon (the cog) on the Kindle Home screen to view or change your account registration. Signing Out and Deregistering If you sign out of the Kindle app, your reading app is deregistered from your Amazon.com account. When you deregister, you can't download content to the Kindle app or send purchases to the app unless you register again. To deregister using the Kindle app: 1. Tap the Kindle icon on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. 2. Tap the Settings icon in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. 3. Tap "Update" under the Registration field and then tap the Deregister button. To deregister online: 1. Visit Manage Your Kindle on Amazon.com. 2. Open the Manage Your Devices section and locate your registered Kindle app. 3. How do I access the books on my kindle from my ipad Kindle app?

You will need to download the Kindle app ( from the App Store ) on your iPad or iPhone. You can then access your account on Amazon and probably download whatever you have on the Kindle to those devices. I have it and it works great....never went back to the Fire.
