I have a grinding sound in motor. Is there a chart online that I can find to troubleshoot cycles. Step thru the cycles instead of waiting
Hello friend, thank you for your inquiry!
I understand that your Frigidaire dishwasher is making a grinding noise. Typically that noise could be a faulty motor/pump. I have included a link to your manaul. If that does not help I would recommend having a technician out to your home to properly diagnose and repair your appliance. Best of luck. -Matt

HI, under the sump housing, there is a major issue concerning the circulation motor. there is a wash impeller that is connected to the circulation motor, via drive shaft and stud. this assembly has been stripped, due to a possible jam that was caused by a foreign object. the impeller is basically, producing the grinding sound you are hearing, you will need to replace this damaged wash impeller asap. it will ruin the motor soon if it is not removed.
This wash impeller is responsible for the flow of water during the wash cycle. it is not completely off the shaft but, eventually , it will break off soon, causing major damage to the circulation motor.

From the information you have provided your Frigidaire microwave is making a grinding noise. This could be a possible problem with your motor or magnetron. I would advise to remove the plate on the inside of your microwave and check to assure no dirt or debris is holding the movement of your bottom plate. You may want to perform a reset on your microwave and you can do that by disconnecting power from it for roughly ten minutes. If that does not work you may need to have one of the electrical components replaced on the inside of your microwave and I would recommend having a professional technician out to perform repairs. This will help to avoid any future issues or personal injuries. -Matt
