My cat sprays over the top. What hood/cover is compatible with this system? Help please!

Problems caused by littering
Do you mean cat is throwing the litter out of the box? Sinply place a rubber mat underneath which isceasynto clean.
or is cat going outside the box? It could be more than one cat using box, or the box needs to be changed more frequently.

We just adopted a "barn" cat. He is litter trained but he throws the litter out of the box--keeps digging to the bottom of the litter box--litter everywhere. What can we do to stop this?

I bought the multiple cat litter box$169 to be exact. I only have one cat but this box has never worked It is the worst I`ve ever had
Return it.

Save money and buy one of those large dome litter boxes. Cut some carpet strips and lay them on the steps where they come out to catch the litter.

Or is it because you don't like to clean the box and have the box do it for you? Sorry can't help you there but return and buy another one / exchange it

How much litter should I put in the litter box?
You should have enough litter to allow your cat to easily cover any waste it leaves behind. Make sure that there is enough so that they don't feel the bottom of the litter box. You should give your cat a minimum of a 2 inch base of litter in the box.
