SOURCE: Bialetti will not make coffee
I would check the grind size you are using. Maybe it is ground too thin and the pressure cannot push through.
Also, remove screen and washer and make sure passage to the top is clear.

SOURCE: Hot water won't flow into machine
We stumbled across a solution to this same problem by filling the reservoir about half full, putting it in place, and reaching down to the bottom (small hands required) to pull the plunger open. The machine was running at the time, set to run water through the filter holder, which had no grounds in it. It may not be necessary to have the machine on. Good luck, Gene

SOURCE: How much coffee?
Fill it as full as you can with fine ground coffee. I cut the resulting brew with an equal amount of boiling water. Called an "Americano" in Italy.
SOURCE: I bought a LA PAVONI
Hi,
This problem could occur due to to two problems.
1)Blockages in the valves. There are many valves present that will cause this issue.
When it is blocked due to dust particles it will block the flow.Check in the the diagram of how
to separate the La Pavoni.Apply some air pressure at the valve knob endings and the flow turnings.
2)Piston may to block the flow.So take it clean and place it properly.
Here is the parts diagram which will help you take apart the La Pavoni.
