An 1118 process unit has a 100k life @5% average coverage in my experience the usually last about 85k when the waste toner is full it's generally near the end of life of the unit the fact that you're getting black marks in the pages says to me that there is drum decay which is also a signs of the process unit life nearing its end

here are some steps to print document.(just make it sure that your printer is properly installed in your computer.including the printer driver.

Open a program that allows you to insert text into a document or get on the internet.

If you were to open a program, you would need to type text into the document. If you were to get on the internet, you could skip to step 7.3.

After you have typed text into the document, you need to locate the menu bar, click on file, then point to print.4.

Click on print.5.

When the print dialog box appears, select the printer you want to use (if it is not already selected) and select the number of copies to print.6.

Click OK.

If you were to print a page or pages from the internet, follow steps 3, 4, 5, and 6, except you don't have to type text into a document to print.

if you using serial port, check the configuration setings, (flow control (have to be the same with the printer HARDWARE/XON.XOFF)

Remove the Pending print from Computer Adminstrative Mode. After that Switch off your Machine. After that pls. clear the Memory from Tech Mode.

Menu#1934 then after select the memory clear from the list.

after clearing restart the machine.

It is compatible according to the Win7 compatibility Center. If you have any problems, check your cables or network settings.

Go to Properties under your printer and Paper settings.
You can select different types of prtinting. and quality.

There's nothing wrong with your camcorder. Cystal-shaped spots, black spots, and bright spots of light (red, green, or blue) can appear on the LCD monitor for a variety of reasons. These spots are not being recorded on your tape. But if these are distracting your videotaping, consider taking a slightly different shooting angle and the spots should go away.
