I just went through the same problem with the three lights. I found out mine was the wheel speed sensor, in the front right wheel hub. I replaced it as there was a humming sound coming from the right (sounds like a loose wheel). It ended up being bad bearings which I just tripped the warning. My buddies code reader would not bring up any info on the lights, they are gone now with the new hub.

SOURCE: abs light, trac light, service engine soon light

The problem is probably the wheel hub bearings and it is more that likely the front. I had the same problem a few weeks on my 00 grand am gt. Connected the car to the tester it gave me a code for left front wheel bearing. I replace both wheel bearings because i figured what the hell they both have the same amount of miles on them. Taaadaaa no more lights!!! Hope this solves your problem.

Sounds like you have a bad wheel speed sensor. You need to have it scanned. Since it's been sitting, it might just be a bad connection to one of the speed sensors.

SOURCE: 2000 grand am se abs light an trac off light and

If you had the car scanned with a generic OBDII code reader (Which is what they use at all the parts stores) this is probably why it is not showing any codes. You have "Vehicle Specific" codes. This means that the problem with your Check Engine light is not a problem that will generate a "generic" OBD code. A generic OBD code reader will not read codes from your Antilock Brake System or your Traction Control System at all... You need to have it scanned professionally by someone who has the proper equipment and software to access the Controller Area Network (CAN) in your vehicle.

When I turn the steering wheel the low trac light

The steering wheel position, wheel speed sensors, and ABS systems are all used to provide traction control. You likely have a failure of one or more systems. Scan the ABS system and it will provide codes to help the diagnosis. Wheel speed sensors fail often, and it is likely one or more of these is contributing to the problem.

After start up, engine, trac off, abs, and service engine soon light come on. vehicle runs normal.

trac off abs light , the problem is in one of the wheel bearing, that is where the sensor is.

Service Vehicle soon trouble light comes on, along with ABS light and Trac Off light, but no diagnostic codes show up on diagnostic reader. How do you determine what is wrong?

If you are using an obd2 reader, make sure it has all the updates. If the check engine light is on, is should show up on reader. There is also a ABS light tester as well. It sounds like an error in the ABS/Trac cirucuits. It could be a bad pump or faulty module.

Pontiac 2002 se: veh soon light, trac light, abs light comes on

I have this same problem and had it checked. It is the wheel sensor. Mine is the passenger front right wheel sensor. According to the mechanic I take it to the GrandAm's are known for this. The part is about $40.
