SOURCE: how to access older timex automatic watch second hand

You should be able to open the back by popping it off with a sharp knife blade. Sometimes, the lip where you'd open it is hard to see and usually under the band, between the lugs. The movement will just come out. If I read you right, you know how to do this, once the movement is removed. You can't just pull the hands off. Hopefully, you'll be able to just VERY EASILY bend the one that is causing the problem.

SOURCE: change the time on my cardinal LED watch

I am unsure how I did it.....I was just simply pushing buttons and then the time started flashing...the minutes...then I lost it again...then when I hit the buttons again...I got the flashing minutes then selected another button and it went to the hour...I advanced the hour by 1 hour, which is what I had wanted to do....so my problem is solved....Unfortunately I can't explain how I did it.

What are the 3 circles inside the face of the watches and what are they for?
If pressing either the upper or lower buttons on the right of the watch do nothing, then the sub-dials are probably only for decorative purposes.
If so, there will not be any movement in either of the buttons when pressed - they may feel solid as if they are part of the casing.
The hands on the sub dial, on close inspection, may be glued or even printed on the watch face.
If however, things happen when you press either button, get back in touch for instructions.

How to stop hourly beep?
For people who don't want to do the trouble of looking on the casio webpage here are the steps:
Go to Alm or alarm
press the button in the lower right-hand corner twice
then press the button in the upper left-hand corner to toggle the hourly alarm on an off (it says on or off in the mid top)

Hi I have a g-shock watch, problem is that even though I have synced the time to the correct area (London) my watch appears fast. I feel the watch has the correct time because on the little digital display...
all you have to do is to set the analog time, to do this just simply press the mode button until the H-SET in the digital face appears then press and hold the adjust button on the upper left until the digital time appears, then press the upper right button until the analog time reaches the exact time of the digital. last, press once the adjust button... I hope this will help you..

Looking at your watch face: the upper left button is A, upper right is B, lower left is C and lower right is D.

Get your watch into "Hand Setting mode" That is the mode witht he digital time and seconds above it.
From Day and Date window it would mean pushing button "C" six times to get to that mode.

Once in "Hand Setting Mode"
Hold down button "A" til time blinks, then press button "D" to advance the hands, to the desired time.

Press "A" to exit mode. Press "C" to return to timekeeping mode.

How to set the wr330 watch lost instructions.
On the face of the watch, there are four buttons arranged around the circle of the watch face in four positions. Starting with the upper left hand button (labelled SET), and working clockwise around the face of the watch (to ADJ., EL, and MODE), I'll label the buttons "A", "B", "C", and "D".

In other words...
Button "A" is the button labelled "SET" in the upper left hand corner of the watch.
Button "B" is the button labelled "ADJ." in the upper right hand corner of the watch.
Button "C" is the button labelled EL in the lower right hand corner of the watch.
Button "D" is the button labelled "MODE" in the lower left hand corner of the watch.
Setting the Time.
1. Press and hold D as if you were setting the alarm. As above, the stopwatch will momentarily appear and then after 2 seconds the alarm time will appear with the hour flashing.
2. Press and release D and the seconds on the time of day will begin to flash.
3. Press and release B to reset the seconds to zero provided they are below 30. If they are above 30, the seconds will reset and the minutes of the time of day will advance by one.
4. Press and release A to change from flashing seconds to flashing minutes/flashing hours/flashing day of the month/flashing month of the year/flashing day of the week. In each flashing mode, pressing and releasing B advances the value by one unit.
5. Press and release D to exit time setting mode.

How do u set the time on a ga 100 g shock watch
You hold down the A button for a few seconds until it beeps. The A button is the one that says 'adjust' on it and is at the top left hand corner of the watch face. After that you adjust your home city time by pressing the bottom right hand button. After you hit adjust again the watch face will rotate to the home city time. You can see your home city change in the bottom right hand lcd display. A description of the home city codes is in the manuals you can download from the site posted above

    Setting the Time
  1. G-Shock watches feature a digital display that is set using the function buttons on the outside of the watch face. To set the time, press and hold the the upper left button until the seconds unit blinks on the display. Reset the seconds to "00" by pressing the lower right button.

    Push the lower left button to switch to the hours unit, which will start blinking. Advance the hour by pressing the lower right button. If you hold down the lower right button, it will advance the hour unit at a higher rate of speed. Once the hour is set, press the lower left button to switch to the minutes unit. As with the hours unit, pressing the lower right button will advance the minutes and holding it down will advance the minutes rapidly.

    Once the time is set, press the upper left button to save the setting.
    2. Backlight
  2. The backlight on a G-Shock watch has a manual control and an automatic function that will light the face of the watch whenever the alarm, countdown alarm or hourly alarm ring. To use the manual backlight, press the button on the bottom of timepiece. The light will glow for approximately 2 seconds before going out.

    The automatic function is set by pressing and holding the lower right button. When the automatic function is set, an indicator icon will display on the watch face above the seconds unit. You can turn off the automatic backlight function by pressing and holding the lower right button until the icon disappears.

    Note that backlight causes a drain on the battery, and overuse of the backlight will greatly reduce battery life.

  3. The G-Shock has an alarm that emits an audible tone for approximately 20 seconds when it turns on. I have a police chronograph watch about a year old if that and the chronograph dials have reset themselves at random points does anyone know why and if so is there a fix? many thanks david
hi,
all you need to do is pull the centre bezel out (to where you adjust the time) and by pressing the top button the chronograph needle will move round. Once it is the correct place simply push the centre bezel back in.
