I can not get the drivewrs for my camera after my driver disk was damaged

Frist, do have an audio device at all? Is there a mic / speaker connection on the board, or a seperate addin sound card?

If so, then you need the correct driver to access it. If it's in main board, do you have the drivewr disk that came with it? Audio device driver should be there too.
If it's an addin, find a manufacturer name and the number off the main chip. Visit the manufacturer web site, find the service and / or support area and seach for a downloadable driver for it.

You are in luck! My daughter has the same camera and I have uploaded the contents of the installation CD for you to download. Included is the User Manual, Camera Drivers, and application software which is used to pull the photos from the camera. The software included supports Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.

Consider NOT using a driver.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

Generally you can get a free download off the net. just google the brand and model of your camera with the word driver at the end.

driver for windows 7

This is the same as the Sakar 57482 digital camera. Sakar makes it. Search for their driver. Also you can just pull the SD card and have it read by your PC. If you don't have a media reader they are available pretty cheap. If all else fails try this generic driver:

The floppy driver has an internal switch that detects when the floppy disk is protected or not.

It is likely such switch is damaged.

It is necessary to open the camera and the floppy drive to fix it.

If you have experience and skills in fixing electronic devices, or want to try it, then you can try its repair.

The alternative is to pay to have repaired, but is more likely that the quote you will receive is to replace the whole floppy drive, which costs around $40.00 plus the repair labor.
