1) the old board deck belt is time to replace it 2) However you must test a) the main motor see my personal TIPS for motor help b) test the output voltage board, for input voltage motor if there are NOT the board is faulty. see the diagrams attached. God bless you
Sounds like the belt and deck needs lubrications. Why I say that when walking you do not drawn as much power as you would running. IF their is a lack of lubrications their is a higher amount of friction thus the Motor Control Board has a internal shut off which prevent further damage to the treadmill. This is a fact that 75% to 85% of the problems are belt and deck related. So i suggest you call Nation Gym Supply @ 1-800-496-7278 order this lube part # TM001 Follow these steps below:
Lift the belt and use approximately ½ of the tube by squeezing the lube in the walking area lengthwise. Move to the opposite side of the treadmill and repeat using the remainder of the lube. Use all of the contents of a single container during application. The lube will spread evenly in the next step. Do not perform this step by hand. The lube is usually not harmful to the skin but has the potential to permanently stain fabric.
Start the treadmill at 2 mph and walk on for about 5 minutes then check centering carefully and adjust as needed following your owner’s manual instructions
