Unable to get tv stations on my Sony Sports Walkman
Used to get perfect tv reception on my Sony Sports Walkman. Since the change over, I am unable to. What can I do? Is the tv portion of my walkman no longer any good?

If the television was unplugged for very long, it may have cleared its memory. Being unable to find any channels may indicate that the unit has defaulted to cable tv mode and may require some changes in the setup menu. In the menu, there should be a category for channels where you can change the type to "over the air" rather than cable. Additionally, since all television have now gone digital, most stations now broadcast at about half the power they used to. If you live close enough to get a signal above the required threshold, you get a great picture. If not, no picture at all.
Sounds to me like your keypad is faulty. You will need to contact your Cell Phone provider for repair, or contact Sony for repair or replacement of your phone. I have been unable to find the part you need to replace online, but I am sure Sony will have it available.
Get a better Antena, like digital antena or a roof outside Antena to get better reception.Go to ur tv menu goto SETUP pick AIR and scan all the DTV free air programs stations.
Are you trying to get the OTA channels? In that case you need to check out sites like antennaweb.org and tvfool.com. In many places, an indoor antenna will not work well for digital reception and both of these sites will recommend an antenna type for your location. They also give the direction to point the antenna for the stations. Antennaweb is very conservative in its listings. Tvfool gives significantly more information about all the stations around you that may be receivable with the largest antenna and correct positioning.
I hope this helps.
Cindy Wells (Antennaweb.org lists only two digital stations in my location. With an exterior antenna, amplifier, and rotor, we actually get 10 in our standard setting and can get additional stations (losing the regular channels) on changing the antenna orientation.)
Sorry to be the one bringing you the bad news but unfortunately, none. The digital TV signals uses different frequencies and method of embedding the audio. The regular TV Audio Receivers do not cover these frequencies nor are they capable of deciphering the signals.
There's nothing you can do. With the switch to digital broadcasting, the sound isn't on the same frequencies it used to be so this radio can't pick it up. Right now, nobody's offering a digital receiver for the sound. All your radio is good for now is the regular radio and weather broadcasts.
