Trintron tv the color turn dark and then and thought i would check the conection.. when starting to move the tv... the picture returned to norm... but did not last..... now there is no picture.... just sound....

The screen is not working anymore and the built in light inside of the screen is burning out and the screen needs to be replace on the The TV's screen is either Dark or blurry picture is most often caused by the result of picture setting. If the screen is still dark after turning off Energy Saving, click Back on your TV's remote to return to the Picture menu. From the Picture menu, select Picture Mode Settings. Select vivid for the highest brightness, and most vivid colors.

Using Automatic Picture Settings
Your TV has Three automatic picture settings ("Dynamic", "Standard", "Movie") that are preset at the factory.
You can activate either Dynamic, Standard, Movie by making a selection from the menu.
1. Press the MENU button to display the menu.
Press the ENTER button, to select "Picture".
2. Press the ENTER button to select "Mode".
Press the ??² or ??¼ buttons to select the "Dynamic", "Standard", "Movie" picture
setting. Press the ENTER button.
?³ Choose Dynamic to increase the clarity and sharpness of the picture.
?³ Choose Standard for the standard factory settings.
?³ Choose Movie for a natural Image without picture enhancements.
3. Press the ??² or ??¼ buttons to select "Contrast", "Brightness", "Sharpness",
"Color", or "Tint(G/R)", then press the ENTER button.
4. Press the ??? or ??? buttons to decrease or increase the value of a particular item.
For example, if you select "Contrast", pressing the ??? button increases it.
Press the ENTER button.
Press the EXIT button to exit.
• When you make changes to Contrast, Brightness, Sharpness, Color, Tint(G/R)
the OSD will be adjusted accordingly.
• When in PC mode, Tint, Sharpness, and Color are not available.

Resetting the Picture Settings to the Factory Defaults
1. Press the ??² or ??¼ button to select "Reset", then press the ENTER button.
Press the ??² or ??¼ button to select "Cancel" or "OK" then press the ENTER button.

Each mode can be reset.

Thats the screen controls. To adjust it turn the color level down to zero, Then adjust the 3 knobs by balancing them to where the best black and white picture is acheived. Then turn the color level up and that should do it. Just be careful not to turn the settings too low or the CRTs will refuse to light after the set gets turned off. If that happens you will need to turn each adjustment up a little and the CRTs will relight then you will need to adjust it more. If you cannt get a good black and white picture you will need to replace the Coolant in the CRts.

The colors seperating is a convergence problem, as far as being dim this may be related but the TV likely needs service adjustments.

The 2 blinks is a diagnostic code that should indicate the problem circuit. This is unique to each model though. Can you confirm that the model in question here is KV-32FS120?

This sounds like the color processor IC is not working properly. If this is the case you will have to have this checked by a qualified technician.

1 your problem is in video section 2 if it is ok then check power supply for any components defective.

The dark picture is a bad capacitor for the screen or drive voltage for the picture tube driver transistors. The other problem of streaking is one of the same. Thats the indication that a capacitors defective . It could in a rare cas ebe a defective or gassy crt as well but 99% of the time when a crt is said to be gassy its nothing more then poor drive to the crt. Good luck
