I have lost a remote during my recent relocation. I contacted the Sanyo/Panasonic customer service to get a replacement but they were not helpful. This is an old but useful unit. Please also let me know if there is any way I can initialize/ finalize dvd-r without the remote.

if you have not plug out your set for a while then i recommend to do now leave it for about 2 days then plug it in back if it does the same problem,then have a tech look at your set.good luck
