That worries me when the fuses dont`t blow, otherwise I would have told you you made the wrong connections or did not ground enough. You can find fuses in any hardware stores and if your purchase is recent, have it replaced or get your money back. I suspect something wrong with the item. Or go to place where they are specialized in installing DVD monitors in cars; they`d tell you if it`s blown up or not. My TView monitor is really blown up and I am trying to find out if it can be fixed. My warranty has expired and I am kind of stucked.

05 Explorer all of the windows stopped working at the same time and the radio also I checked all of the fuses and all of them are good Thanks in Advance if you are able to help me with this problem.

Bad relay more then likely .
Power Window Operation
The power window system operates under the control of the accessory delay relay. The instrument cluster module (ICM) grounds the relay coil to provide power to the power window system & the radio .

Symptom Chart Condition Possible Sources Action
  • All power windows are inoperative
  • Fuse(s).
  • Circuitry.
  • Instrument cluster module (ICM).
  • Accessory delay relay.
  • Driver window control switch.
  • Go To Pinpoint Test A .

The first step to diagnose this problem would be to hook up a factory scan tool an check for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble code's in the ICM . If no codes do pin point test A
Pinpoint Test A: All Power Windows Are Inoperative
Normal Operation Under normal operation the instrument cluster module grounds the accessory delay relay through circuit 1004 (LB/RD). Power is sent to the driver window control switch through circuit 400 (LB/BK) from the accessory delay relay. The driver window control switch is grounded through circuit 1205 (BK).
    Possible Causes
  • Fuse(s)
  • Open in circuits 400 (LB/BK), 1205 (BK) or 1004 (LB/RD)
  • Damaged accessory delay relay
  • Damaged CJB
  • Inoperative ICM
  • Inoperative driver window control switch
  • INPOINT TEST A: ALL POWER WINDOWS ARE INOPERATIVE Test Step Result / Action to Take A1 CHECK THE VOLTAGE TO THE DRIVER WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH - CIRCUIT 400 (LB/BK)
    • Disconnect: Driver Window Control Switch C504a.
    • Key in ON position.
    • Measure the voltage between driver window control switch C504a-6, circuit 400 (LB/BK) harness side and ground.
    • Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
    Yes
    GO to A2 .

    No
GO to A3 . A2 CHECK THE GROUND TO THE DRIVER WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH - CIRCUIT 1205 (BK)
    • Key in OFF position.
    • Measure the resistance between driver window control switch C504a-2, circuit 1205 (BK) harness side and ground.
    • Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
    Yes
INSTALL a new driver window control switch. REFER to Window Control Switch in this section. TEST system for normal operation.

    No
REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation. A3 CHECK THE ACCESSORY DELAY RELAY
    • Key in OFF position.
    • Disconnect: Accessory Delay Relay.
    • Carry out the accessory delay relay component test. Refer to Wiring Diagrams Cell 149 for schematic and connector information.
    • Is the accessory delay relay OK?
    Yes
    GO to A4 .

    No
INSTALL a new accessory delay relay. TEST the system for normal operation. A4 CHECK THE POWER TO THE ACCESSORY DELAY RELAY
    • Key in ON position.
    • Measure the voltage between ground and accessory delay relay socket pin 85 and pin 30 harness side.
    • Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
    Yes
    GO to A5 .

    No
REPAIR the power supply circuit or central junction box (CJB). TEST the system for normal operation. A5 CHECK CIRCUIT 400 (LB/BK) FOR AN OPEN
    • Key in OFF position.
    • Measure the resistance between driver window control switch C504a-6, circuit 400 (LB/BK) and accessory delay relay socket pin 87, circuit 400 (LB/BK) harness side.
    • Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
    Yes
    GO to A6 .

    No
REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation. A6 CHECK CIRCUIT 1004 (LB/RD) FOR AN OPEN
    • Disconnect: Instrument Cluster Module (ICM) C220a.
    • Measure the resistance between accessory delay relay socket pin 85, and ICM C220a-5, circuit 1004 (LB/RD).
    • Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
    Yes
INSTALL a new ICM. REFER to Section 413-01 . TEST the system for normal operation.

    No
REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation
  • If you don't understand any of this , your best bet mite be to have a qualified repair shop look at it .

Cant find fuse for power windows?

According with the Explorer Owner Guide, I suggest...
1. Check for power on the Light Blue/Black (LB/BK) wire at the master window switch.
2. Check for a good ground to the master window switch on the Black (BK) wire. This wire provides the ground circuit for all of the window motors.

If both of these are good you probably have a bad master switch(drivers master switch).

The Light Blue/Black (LB/BK) wire gets its power supply from the accessory delay relay in the Central Junction Box (CJB) located under the instrument panel. The Generic Electronic Module (GEM) controls activation of the accessory delay relay. Fuse 2.17 is a 15 amp fuse in the CJB which supplies power to the relay. Fuse F1.6 is a 60 amp fuse in Battery Junction Box (BJB) which also supplies power to the accessory delay relay. G400(ground) is located at the driver side rear of the vehicle near the tail light assembly. This connection provides a ground for the master window switch (click image for zoom).

For additional details, i suggest try to look and obtain this 2002 Explorer Owner Guide 6th Printing (English).

Hope helps.

Do you know what fuse controles the radio, doors and dome lights in a 97 mustang?

The fuse you are looking for is located in the passenger compartment fuse panel. It will be in the number 8 position (see layout diagram below). That fuse covers both of the things you were looking for but also in the number 11 position is a separate fuse for just the radio. This should be in your owners manual if you have one. If you don't and would like a copy, you can email me at [email protected] with your make model and year and I will be happy to email you a copy. Don't worry, no cost to you. I hope this helps and good luck.

Need a power plug for 17" tview flip down monitor

This is the best solution for your problem as a 40 year experience with wires etc. Go to the source of your cable signal connector . Open it and clean the terminals with emery paper , sand the end of the cable shiny clean from corrosion , get a new barrel connectors with gold terminals if possible lengthen the ends of the cable , insert and tighten good, use thick rg-16 or rg 40 cable with good insulation ends crimped professionally with a crimpier or buy ready made , not from dollar store. Get a gold plated professional splitter if you need one or two , it will cost about 15 or more each . Make the cable runs as short as possible, using the thick good cables. If needed get a signal magnifier. From radio shack or the source etc. Connect them good and tight . Ground the splitters . Problem solved , you will get crystal clear channel 2 to 7 including 3 and 4 . Isolate the TV cable from other cables and power wires. Vitally
