Question about Kyocera FS Office Equipment & Supplies
How to clean the toner waste box?

I don't recommend cleaning a waste toner bottle but if you do just pull it out and empty the toner out its very messy for don't wear anything you don't want to get dirty

SOURCE: Waste Tone Box
Your machine catch's excess toner and puts it in a container and needs you to replace/empty it soon or it will have to stop work, sorta like needs just a dash of attention for all its effort.
The bottle at a guess for this model will be apparent when opening front door, instruction are probally on the inside of door but it is just a container full of black messy stuff that needs to be emptyied and replaced....hang on I'll google it....looks like you need to buy a new box and that will have instructions even.

On the machine there is a sensor that looks trough the waste tank even though you have wiped it clean the likely thing is that the sensor cannot see through the plastic waste tank.
I suggest vacuum the waste tank out until all the toner has gone then install it. If you cannot get rid of all the toner then wash the tank out and leave to dry then install it.
Hope this helps you

The waste toner is a large, clear plastic container on the left side of the printer when you look at it from the front. Here is the info and a picture from the Samsing website: http://www.samsung.com/us/computer/printers-accessories/CLT-W409/SEE
To remove and replace it, turn the printer off and wait a few minutes for it to cool, then open the front cover and look at the bottom left of the printer. There should be a clear plastic handle that you can pull the whole waste unit out with. Be carefull not to spill any of the toner; that powder gets everywhere. There will be a small green or blue plastic clip attached to the bottom of the waste container that you can pull off and clip onto the opening to close it.
Samsung of course wants you to replace the waste toner container with a new one, which you may have to do, but there are some printers that simply emptying the cartridge out will allow you to use it again. Be careful if you decide to do this though: toner is very dangerous to breathe in, so don't shake the toner around to empty it and get a facefull. Be gentle with it and make sure to dispose of the toner properly and put the cartridge back in and see what happens. If it works, great! You don't have to buy a new one. However, if you empty it and it keeps giving you trouble, you may just need to order a new one. The part number is CLT-W409, and most waste units cost under $20.
I hope this helps! Good luck!
