Take the single screw off of the entry pad and remove the cover plate. Using the key that came with the safe, unlock the safe. Now, look for a little red button on the inner hinge. Push it in and you will note the yellow led on the the front of the safe turns on. Now, enter a 4 digit code of you choice. This is automatically saved and is the new 4 digit code you press to open the safe.
There is no screw in the front where the number pad is

I have a Gordon Digital Electonic Safe SKU#45891. Have forgotten combination. How do I open it? Solve this. Topgun44
I have the same safe. Try 159a
IF YOU HAVE THE DOOR KEY , TURN KEY LIGHTLY AND DROP THE SAFE ON THE GROUND,ABOUT 6 INCHES, (JUST LIKE THE ONE IN THE PICTURE)THIS WILL JAR THE ELECTRIC SOLENOID .YOU MUST DO BOTH AT ONCE. IT MAY A FEW TIMES..IF THAT FAILS TAKE YOUR HARBOR FREIGHT GRINDER WITH A CUT OFF BLADE AND SCORE THE DOOR IN THE CENTER FROM TOP TO BOTTOM, (DON'T CUT THREW OR IT WILL BURN UP ALL OF YOUR STUFF !) USE A LARGE SCREWDRIVER TO THEN PRY THE CENTER OF THE SAFE DOOR UP.. ITS A JUNKY SAFE, BUT THAT'S A GOOD THING 4 U . GOOD LUCK AND IF'N I WAS OF HELP COMMENT VOTE (TELL ME SO I CAN BRAG ON HOW DERN GOOD I'AM).. CUZ IF I CAN;T FIX IT I'LL BREAK IT TRY'N.. Jay longwood Fl

The safe was my bosses mother (deceased) & we have no idea where the key would be, can I have one cut?
I have a gordon digital electronic safe # Password:h0885, lost combination .how to open it?
Have a Harbor Freight safe? On the small Harbor Freight safe model 45891 the batteries will go dead without warning. Many people have these as a bedside gun safe. If you lost the key (or left it inside with the book) you can't get back into the safe, the barriers are on the inside and there is no way to charge or power them from the outside. Here is how I opened my safe. Remove one screw and keypad to expose the back-up key lock. Face the front of the safe and drill a 1/8 inch hole 3/4 of an inch to the left and 5/8 below the key lock's center. This hole will be close to the left edge of the keypad recess and covered by the keypad plate when you reinstall it. Stick in a stiff small wire like a paper clip and once through the door plate you will hit the solenoid pin, total distance from front to pin is 1.250 inches until you hit the pin. Once you hit the pin you need to slide your wire up the pin just a little bit until you fell it go over the top, then push the wire in 1/4 inch more and push down on the pin then turn the door knob, the door should open. There is also a large washer 1/4 inch below the pin top, you can bend the wire at a 30 degree angle 1/4 inch from the end and maybe a few more small bends to angle the wire down after it gets through the door plate. You can also push down on this washer to open door. The washed is a larger target and depending on how well you drilled your hole this may be a better spot to try to push on. Also, holding light pressure on the door knob with a rubber band glued to the knob (or light hand pressure) while slamming down the safe's bottom "hard" on concrete will open it. This causes inertia to jar down the very lightly sprigged solenoid pin long enough for the door knob lock plate to slide over the top of the solenoid pin. Rather your contents will survive the impact is another matter. David, BransonKC0LL Tucson, AZ
