How do I scan a manual on my HP Deskjet 1055 All-in-one and make it one file? or How do I upload many files to this site?

Don't know how to make many files one. Have an HP scanner/printer. Have lots of manuals, but can't upload them the way they are: one page at a time, but I don't know how to scan lots of pages and make them one inclusive file. Just have the basic scanner program that comes with HP.

You cant use the document feeder because the manuals are bound but if you save them as pictures and put them in powerpoint you can make them a pdf

Try the following link. It has a multi-page pdf option. When you scan the document, after finished, click "last page".

Before turning off the autocrop feature, reset the software to the default setting. Then turn off the autocrop feature. Some scanning software need to be reset to the original default condition and accept software switches only then!

SOURCE: HP F2280 won?t scan multiple pages into a PDF file

I fixed this by Installing the full suite of programmes on the installation CD, specifically Installing the "OCR Isis" programme (or Iris, not sure).

I had the scan-to-pdf option, but then when I reinstalled my system it was no longer available. I tried updating Adobe Acrobat reader to v9.0 and I don't think this fixed it. But at the same time I installed the "extra" programmes of the HP Installation CD, and then the scan-to-PDF feature was back.

So basically, install the COMPLETE set of programmes on the HP installation CD seemed to fix this.

I have a HP Deskjet F2180 printer, but I suspect that the HP software is generic across alot of its product range.

Cheers! - Hope this helps someone.

How do I scan multiple pages on an HP Deskjet 1055 and make it one large file? or upload several pages to this site?

If you use HP Software to operate the scanning from the deskjet then you can set the scan settings to compile a number of document pages into one file.

Best to download the full set of software for your printer from this site and let it install. Sometimes older version may not have the new features you need.

I want to scan from my HP deskjet F3000 to my sony vaio which has vista, I can print, but I cannot scan?

You can download drivers for HP Deskjet F380 for any operating system from the HP Support site:

Click here and select the Operating System you have (e.g. Windows Vista) Click "NEXT" and download the 'Driver-Production Installation software'.

Double-click the Driver File you have downloaded and follow the instructions on the screen. This will install the Printer and scanner drivers/ software.

Let me know if any further clarification/ assistance is required.

GoodLuck!
Dont forget to appreciate the solution if I could have been of any help!

I need to scan a document from an hp380 All in one, convert to a pdf file and upload to another site. PC is Vista program. PROBLEM is Scan button does NOT respond. Any idea how to sove this...

If you use Adobe Acrobat you can scan the document from there straight into PDF format. There are other programs that will do the same and you can command the scanner from the software.

Hp deskjet f2280 need help scanning

Hi,
this is a two step process first you scan the image and save it, usually you can find it under my scanned images folder, desktop, my documents, or use the search functionality to find your scanned file. For mor information about scan settings visit:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01567026&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=3390947&lang=en

you can then just open your word, go to Insert, picture, from file and browse to previously saved scan file.

Hope this answers your question.
