My Taylor scale model #5564 keeps yo-young my weight by 3lbs every week. But when I weigh in at Weight Watchers it shows my weight less than what my scale is saying. Should I toss it? I have replaced the 9v battery and it's still the same.

My scale had the same problem.  I replaced the battery, but still got the same message.  My wife noticed that one of the feet on the bottom of the scale was loose.  The feet are twisted on to the scale and held by two small flanges.  When I gently pulled the loose foot away I noticed that a small black wire had broke.  I used my fingernails to remove a small bit of the wiring cover and twisted the ends back together.  I then hide the wires back in a recessed area on the foot and placed it back on the scale.  Worked just like the day I got it.   Hope this helps!

The sensor has been worn out or has been pushed past it's weight limit. When you get on it, it pushed the sensor past the point of working... When she gets on it, no problemo...

SOURCE: Err 1 message on Taylor Lithium Elec Scale model 7346

This is a reply I received from Taylor customer support. I have followed this procedure enough times to wear out the original battery and still get the Err 1 message. You may have better luck.

Thank you for your e-mail. The reboot below may clear the error from
your scale. You may need to do this several times to completely reboot
the system. Please let us know if you have any questions or continue to
display the Error.


1. Remove the battery from the scale
2. Set the scale on the floor without the battery in place.
3. Stand on the scale for 10 seconds (still without the battery)
4. Carefully replace the battery without turning the scale on.
5. Using only one foot, tap the scale or apply just enough pressure to
turn on the display. (It should show dashes or zero's) IMMEDIATELY
REMOVE YOUR FOOT.
6. Let the scale turn off
7. Step on the scale for a weight reading

SOURCE: Conair #WW78 scale doesn't reweigh

;i have a problem with the conair ww78. It does not reweigh. It shows the same weight each and every day. What is the problem and how can it be fixed?
