Free radio unlock codes

the esn is only active if the previous owner activated it. the user would of used a CD to be a key cd and that is how they are unlocked. if the cd is lost or damaged, Eclipse can give a code to unlock it. However the original owner needs to have registered the deck with eclipse and have some kind of ID like mother maiden name. there is also a second registration that can be done. which an eclipse dealer can do, it is for used cars with eclipse radios, and things like that.
They can be real strict sometimes about giving out a code, and the authorized dealer has to be the one calling, and somtime that means a lot of time on hold.

These units do not have a security code like some radios. Instead, they are coded using a CD. You insert a CD into the radio and it codes to that disc. You need that same CD if you ever want to unlock the player. If you don't have it, you are SOL. Eclipse is no longer in business and they were the only ones that could reset it. The system is known as "ESN Security".

ESN Security: This unit is equipped with the Eclipse Security Network. You can register a particular music CD as a "key" device which unlocks the security. If the registered CD is not detected, the navigation and audio functions will be disabled when the main unit is disconnected from and reconnected to the vehicle's battery.

To get unlock code you must call your carrier, and give them your phone information, EIN, ESN , and Serial numbers so they can get the correct code for you.

To unlock your phone, call your cellular service provider's Customer Service and request Tech Support assistance. (Tech Support assistance is free.).

Tech support will ask the brand, model number and ESN of your phone so have that information handy. (The model number and ESN are usually found under the battery.)

Tech Support will then verify that you are the owner of the phone. After doing so, they will give you a master unlock code, (or a PUC code) which you'll enter on your phone's keypad.

This will unlock the phone where you can enter a new PIN. (Don't forget your new PIN)

We cannot provide master unlock codes or PUC codes on FixYa as we cannot verify the ownership of phones. You'll have to call your cellular company.

If its locked to AT&T you can call at&t 1-800-288-2747 and have your esn/imei # and they can give you a FREE unlock code.

You'll first need to obtain the IMEI or ESN (both basically mean serial number, but depending upon who the carrier is, it will have a different name). You can do this by removing the battery and looking at the sticker located on the back of the phone. There will be several numbers on this sticker, but only one labeled an IMEI or ESN.

Next, contact the provider/carrier the phone is locked to currently. You'll see their name or logo on the phone somewhere. Some common ones are AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile. Provide them the IMEI or ESN and they will provide you with the unlocking code as well as HOW to put in the code since all phones are different.
