When I playback the movies on my camera, there is sound, but when I upload them on my computer, there is no sound. There is an error message that says that one or more of the codecs needed to play the find wasn't found. i was windows vista as my OS, so could that be the problem? If so, how do I fix it? Thanks in advance.

If you are asking about getting movie clip sound while playback in camera then you wont get it because camera has no inbuilt speaker to give you that sound. Transfer movie clip in computer the get its sound because camera has inbuilt mic to record sound.

This camera does record sounds. But, it doesnt look like it has a speaker in it to play them. So, yes unfortunately you wont be able to hear what you record unless you are using something else to playback what you have recorded.
