Question about Pioneer AVH-5700DVD Car DVD Player

I have a DVD player in my car (Manufacturer DVD player- Nissan Quest) it has an aux port can I use this to connect to a monitor?

That port is for input not output. Unless you may have both like some do. Those wires would be the rca jacks in the back of the unit. If the aux is on the front, that is to hook up ipod

the AUX port is just a line input, analog audio input,
it dont know MP3 .
it only amplies the analog audio found there.
you connect any device, to AUX. push play on the device.
then put car radio in to AUX input mode and play. the audio.
that is all there is to it.
the external device does all the heavy lifting, reading a file, and decoding it (mp3 decode) and then sends raw analog audio out.

the cable is sold and radioshack, or walfart or many other stores,

they use mini phone plugs, stereo, type,. (3 contacts)
