Before spending good money on parts, use the tried and true method of "CLEANING" the contacts on the ribbon cable with a good pencil eraser !
And be sure the cable locks are secure when re-installing the ribbon in the socket.

I have a 326B1230P001 GE Double oven that displays ?F7? and beeps?..have cut power to it to try to reset it but it comes back beeping and the display goes through different changes by itself?.what is wrong...

F7 stuck keypad
Stuck keypad may mean relay is turned on.
Determine if problem is with the Key Panel or Control by:
1. Pushing CLEAR/OFF pad.
2. Disconnecting Ribbon Cable from control and waiting at least 32 seconds to see if Code recurs

If code recurs, problem is in the control. Replace control.

If code does not recur, problem is with the Key Panel.

326B1230P001 GE Double oven that displays ?F7? and beeps

I have a GE JT950 double oven that just did the same thing: F7 and beeps like crazy. I found solution on another post: an engineer figured out how to solve the issue without calling GE or buying parts. I just did it tonight and it worked fine. Here is a copy of the post:

Send an e-mail to Charlie at [email protected] for a fix-it that you can try. He explains a possible solution fully with his 'The Dreaded "F7" Error' solution. I actually found his information on another website when I did a web search for "GE Profile Oven F7 Issue". I sent an e-mail to him and he replied with free fix-it information. I am not a repair person myself, but, his instructions are very clear and simple to follow. I did the fix-it at no cost in approximately 10 minutes and it has solved my problem

The F7 code appears with a beeping noise. How do I turn off the beep for good.... selecting clear/off only works for a few seconds

Hi,

Well, F7 error code occures due to
A = Function pad button stuck or
B = Bad clock Unstick button or
Replace Electronic Range Control (ERC)

Replace the ERC there are ten screws 3 on each side and 4 on the control leave the hex screws alone all you need is a phillip screwdriver.
REMEMBER TO SHUT OFF THE POWER FIRST lift and fold out the control panel remove the ribbon cable and remove the four screws that hold the control board . replace control panel in reverse order.

Thanks

F7 beeping an cannot stop it... any solutions?

HI, if this error code cannot be canceled, this will confirm a touch pad issue. the membrane is damaged and, this will require you to replace the ERC.

Replacing the Electronic oven control will fix this issue.
