Most likely the water temperature is not reached as required and the dishwasher times out and stops without draining the water. It is likely the inlet water temperature is not adequate or if only using cold water the thermistor or the water heater are faulty.
Look for part M083 in the diagrams at the back of the service manual attached. you can also perform some diagnostics as shown in there but be very careful about the sequence otherwise you may flood or damage the dishwasher components.

LG Dishwasher LD 1403W. We have cleaned it and when it gets to the heating cycle after running right through to nearly the end, it trips all the electricity and stops everything. Its only 3 years old and hubby thinks its the heating element but between $200=$300 to fix.

More than likely it is the electronic control board.

The wheels on the bottom rack could be broken or collapsing..or the rack is distorted or bent..or the spray arm is not attached correctly or is damaged.

Hi First make sure that nothing is blocking the drain pump
assembly located inside the lower front panel of the dishwasher. If the issue
returns after its cleaned then it means that the control board has gone bad and
