Power requirement for the imageRUNNER 400s

This is the code for the cleaning web in the fuser. This will have to be replaced ( P/N FY1-1046-000 ). The error code has to be reset my going into the service mode. Press additional functions, then 2 and 8 keys at the same time, then additional functions. Press copier, then COUNTER, then MISC, then FIX-WEB, Then the Clear key on the control panel. The counter should go to all "0's. I believe you have to turn off the main power key and power up but I'm not sure.

change the power supply quickly before creep to another part

it is the composite power pcb that more than likly has gone bad. you will need to get the board tested and or replaced. was there any loss of power in the area or any surge's in the building it was located in.

Yes you can switch the main power on and off, what is your problem???

Turn off the main power switch, and
disconnect the power cord.
Remove the copyboard glass; then,
remove the screw, and detach the small
cover from the IP cover.
remove the remove all eprom dccon ram
& insert again & start the machine.

connect network cable from the machine to the switch or router, and give ur machine ip address compitable with ur network, then load the driver on ur computer and u will be fine.

there is a hardware upgrade that has to be made first. I highly doubt if it is still available. You might find someone witha used one. They were not very popular. The scanner option used a SCSI (pronounced "scuzzy") interface which requires a seperate connection to a nearby computer with a SCSI interface board.
