Question about HP Deskjet 3510 e-All-in-One Printer
Need to remove the lid on the scanner glass in order to have large documents lay flat. How do I get it off without breaking the tabs?

It is not in the glass. More than likely it is in the rollers of the ADF feeder. If you open the cover of the ADF feeder you can see there are 3 screws (! is found under another small cover furthest to the back of the machine. Once these three screws are removed you can left the entire ADF feeder from the unit. You will then be able to clean all the rollers. Do not use alcohol as this will dry our your rollers and cause them to eventually crack. Just use soap and water to clean the rollers. Then reinstall the ADF feeder assembly back on the machine.
